Inniscarra National Rowing Centre

DGA were commissioned to design the National Rowing Centre at Inniscarra, Co Cork. The National Rowing Centre, located on the river Lee, is used as for training and national events in Ireland. The building is designed to keep the public areas separate from the athletes. The public areas are located on the upper ground floor level with the athletic accessed areas on the lower ground floor which is directly accessible to the water. The €3.2m building accommodates a restaurant and bar, gymnasium and public meeting rooms as well as boat stores and maintenance areas.
