Residential Development, Ballincollig

Deady Gahan Architects were commissioned to develop a medium density residential development within the town boundary of Ballincollig, Co. Cork. The 450 residential unit scheme, with a mix of apartments and stock housing, also provides for local services including a crèche, community hall, retail outlets and offices. The scheme is centered around a local node which provides integrated services for the proposed residential development and wider community.

Feature buildings up to 5 storey's in height create landmark reference buildings which provides scale to the overall development. The range and mix of residential unit types, along with open spaces and urban squares, identify and delineate various clusters and groups of buildings and form the basis of future community living.
