Deady Gahan Architects is an architectural design practice led by David Deady and Eamonn Gahan. It was established in January 2004 and is based in Cork. The Directors of DGA have over 25 years experience in Ireland and the United Kingdom.

Deady Gahan Architects approach is to create environments that provide amenity with maximum flexibility for current and future users. Architecture design for us is about providing original, clear and practical solutions that benefit the inhabitants as well as the wider community and our design objective is to provide forward looking solutions which balance aesthetics with functionality and cost. While our architectural design will be forward looking, we ensure that we incorporate proven technology in well crafted, aesthetically distinguished buildings.

The company offers a range of services from architectural design and planning consultancy to project management and PSDP. The company is AutoCAD based with a range of complimentary CAD programs. DGA are fortunate to have a great mix of talented architects and technicians with experience to deal with all major building types at all work stage levels.

We pride ourselves in the quality of service that we provide to our clients, which in turn is reflected in the amount of repeat work we win in Cork and the wider Munster area. Deady Gahan Architects are a RIAI registered practice and are committed to providing a level of professional service that is required under the RIAI Code of Professional Conduct.

David Deady

David studied in Cork and qualified in 1991. He worked in a number of local practices gaining vast experience over a wide range of project types from Commercial, Industrial, Retail, Pharmaceutical, Interior Design and residential projects prior to co-founding Deady Gahan Architects in 2004.

He specialised as a Project Architect managing on site developments and has gained great skills in leading technical teams and building contractors to deliver projects to clients within budget and on time. He has vast experience in onsite health and safety and provides Project Supervisor Design Stage services as part of his on-site duties. He has in-depth knowledge of the building regulations and oversees all aspects of BCAR within the practice.

He is a registered RIAI Architect, is a member of the Institute of Project Management Ireland “IPMI”, is a member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health “IOSH” and is a qualified Project Supervisor for Design Stage “PSDP” accredited through the RIAI.

Eamonn Gahan

Eamonn studied architecture in the United Kingdom, and worked for a number of years in London before returning to Ireland. He is a founding director of Deady Gahan Architects, set up in 2004.

He is a highly skilled team leader and talented designer and has a wide range of experience, extending over twenty years. He has a strong focus on providing a high quality design in the delivery of residential, healthcare and commercial projects within the company. He is currently working on delivering a number of large scale residential projects through the Strategic Housing Development (SHD) planning process

He is a registered RIAI Architect, is an RIAI Grade 3 Conservation Architect and a qualified Passive House Designer.
