John Street Apartments, Cork
Located on Lower John St, opposite the Lady’s Well Brewery yard, this scheme consists of 17 apartments distributed over four floors. The scale of the development has been established as a direct response to the surrounding context which allows it to seamlessly tie into the fabric of the area. The scheme has been designed to create a new street frontage which serves to enhance the visual amenity of the area. Using a palette of materials that consists of render, brick and pressed metal a contemporary design is achieved while respecting the existing buildings adjacent the site.
Evergreen Road Apartments, Cork
This project is an infill development of a site on Evergreen Road to the south of Cork City centre. The scheme consists of 28 units in total in the form of apartments, duplex apartments and townhouses providing a good mix of unit types for the area. The layout has been carefully considered to create a development that responds to the scale of the surrounding context. The units have been organised around a central open space which promotes interaction between the residences and creates a sense of place.
Boherboy Road Apartments, Cork
Located on the corner of Boherboy Road and the North Ring Road, this project consists of 15 residential units in the form of apartments and own door access duplex apartments. The units are arranged around a south-east facing courtyard which benefits from natural light throughout the day. A strong urban edge is formed along the public roads with an apartment block located on the corner, adding scale and creating a feature element within the scheme.
