Opening of New Aldi Retail Store in Killaloe
This new Aldi retail Store has been constructed on a site adjacent to the town centre of Killaloe with a connection to the Main Street via Carrig’s Lane. The development was designed to reflect the existing pattern of development in the immediate vicinity while also respecting ‘The Deanery’ which is on the NIAH and adjoins the site. The building is set into the mature landscape site with mature evergreen trees to the front commanding the centrepiece of the car park. The building has a pallet of Natural Stone cladding and modern painted precast concrete panels with dark grey aluminium windows and fascia’s. The store shares its car park with a public car park enhancing the town centre location and acting as a destination point in the town of Killaloe.
